Honduras

 

The Missioners have been serving the people of Honduras since 1998. We arrived in our current neighborhood in 2003 at the invitation of The Franciscan Friars of the Renewal and in partnership with them and the Diocese of Comayagua have helped to implement outreaches to meet the needs of the poor and discipleship and evangelization programs for the youth and young adults in the local villages. 

All programs are faith-based, as we recognize that in all that we do the love of Christ must remain at the center. 

In September 2003, the Missioners, through an agreement with the Diocese of Comayagua, purchased land adjacent to the Friary of the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal, deepening our commitment to serve the poor there. We are currently in the process in building a the John Paul II Formation Center.
